The Spiritual Journey

The bible states that we are all created equal in the sight of God. The same essence that God is, we are, therefore that makes us co-creators. Our creator gave us free will to choose our path through the universe and through our many incarnations on the earth.

When we as souls began to experience living in the physical body, we lost sight of our true selves. With each incarnation into the physical realm, the memories of who we really are faded more and more each time. With each life on earth, we began accruing karma. As a result, we have had to learn many lessons, and learn how to clear this karma from our body and soul. We have been doing this for eons of time, and as a result, we have evolved to our present level.

I believe this level is about learning to love unconditionally, to learn not to be judgmental with each other, to see ourselves and others as spiritual beings living in a physical body. As we grow in our spiritual life, we will begin to see and know each other as spirit beings, and to come to the realization that we always have been. I believe there is a growing awareness of this. I also believe that we are starting to realize that what we do to each other, we do to ourselves.

If, or when we take the time in our daily life to consciously project this to everyone we come in contact with, we will see this awareness grow. We could learn a lot if we would watch our young children. They accept each other unconditionally. As they grow up, they "grow down" in their thoughts of each other. It seems that they learn this from the adults that surround them.

I believe that our thoughts and our words shape our tomorrows. We build our future by these two things. These are the seeds we sow to reap at a later date. The wheel of justice never stops turning. We reap the good as well as the not so good. We are given the opportunity with each incarnation to learn from the conditions and/or circumstances we find ourselves in. We choose the circumstances that we have in this life, before we are born. These are the opportunities to express our highest and best selves.

On the soul’s path of evolvement, service to God, and ourselves comes first. Next comes service to others. This can be given in many ways. The other is to love others as we love ourselves. Remember, we are all equal so we need not be of service to others at the expense of our self.

Establish in your mind that life is infinite and eternal; that there has never been a time when you were not living and there never will be. The process of "death," of leaving the physical body, and then being born again into the physical, continues until we have evolved enough in spirit to gain freedom from the karmic wheel; to become one with our creator again.

There are souls among us who choose to incarnate to serve humanity. These souls don't have to do this. Some live humbly among the masses, keeping the faith and helping others to do the same. Some are masters, spurred by their high ideals. They understand and are there to help souls on the upward path.

We must all learn that we are one. The future of humankind will be entirely different, once we know this. By love finding expression in patience and service, by being in fellowship and brotherhood with each other. We are learning that the good of others is our good too.

Throughout our life we are actively creating our world. All life is a process of thought. What you think about, you draw into your vibration. Everything in our world came into form because it was a thought in someone's mind. That makes all of us responsible for our world. We all had an equal hand in creating it. We are all linked together in creator-ship with one another.

I believe our responsibility is to help the spiritual evolution of all life. To beautify the earth, and to live in peace and happiness. This is God's wish for all living beings. The progress of the world depends on each individual and how we live our life.
